With quakecolor you can easily create color gradients for your nicknames.
Just choose two colors, enter your nickname and press go. You will get your result in the output box.
You can copy&pase the result into your Qname.exe and add special letters or effects.
If you want to encolor the special q3e+ letters, you have to copy&paste them from Qname.exe to quakecolor. Then you will get results like this:
